I absolutely love this salad! It was given to me by a friend.

Ingredients
  • SALAD
  • 4 c. broccoli, chopped and uncooked
  • 1/2 c. pecans,chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. purple onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. raisins (I use Craisins)
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 to 2/3 c. mayonaisse
  • 3 T. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Directions
  1. Mix together dressing ingredients; set aside while flavors blend.
  2. Combine salad ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Pour dressing over salad. You may substitute bottled Cole Slaw dressing, if in a hurry.
  4. I usually try to refrigerate overnight, if possible. If you do this, do not add nuts until right before serving.

Gonna love it as I love broccoli. would modify to put the blanched one though. thanks for this salad recipe.
