This is a simple and easy frosting,especially if you don't like the OVER sweet store frostings.

Ingredients
  • Butter (1 stick)
  • Crisco Shortening (1/2 cup)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Flour (3 tbsp)
  • Salt (pinch)
  • Vanilla (1 tsp)
  • Confectioner's Sugar (1 cup)

Directions
  1. In a saucepan slowly whisk the milk and flour together,cook over med to low heat keep whisking until it thickens,set this aside to cool.In a mixing bowl cream together the butter,crisco,vanilla and salt,and confectioner's sugar.Beat until nice and fluffy.When the milk and flour mixture has cooled add this to the creamed mixture.Beat until all is incorporated and it's nice and fluffy.
