Bananna Cake Fuel

- 4.5oz butter shopping list
- 2oz muscovado sugar shopping list
- 2oz golden caster sugar shopping list
- 3 large free-range eggs shopping list
- Two large bananas, (best when soft) *peeled and squished* shopping list
- 5.5oz self-raising flour shopping list
- 2oz ground rice, semolina or polenta shopping list
- A splash of vanilla essence (OR a teaspoonful of ground mixed spice) shopping list
- Chopped walnuts (sultanas or chopped dates if you like, but NOT chocolate chips - trust me, that doesn't work) shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well, then add other ingredients and mix in gently.Tip into greased and floured tin (no need to line it, the cake won't stick if you take it out of the tin while it's still hot). Bake at 220degC for 15 mins, then turn the oven down to 190degC and continue cooking till it's ready.
- (Generously fills a 1lb loaf tin)
