How to make it

  • Bake cake mix as directed, using a 9 X 13 pan
  • While cake is baking, mix Eagle Brand milk and cream of coconut together in a medium bowl
  • When cake is done, remove from oven
  • While hot, poke holes in cake and pour the milk mixture over the cake very slowly, letting it soak down in the cake
  • Let cool for about 20 minutes
  • Spread whipped cream over cake
  • Sprinkle with coconut
  • Refrigerate for several hours, preferably overnight

    this sounds awesome but I think Im going to go with a devil's food cake instead I LOVE coconut and chocolate!!

    This is like my coconut cake but I've never added the can of condensed milk. Ohh this must be so rich and creamy! Thanks for the wonderful recipe, Rosemary!
