How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Combine first 6 ingredients till crumbs are formed.
  • Remove 1/3 cup crumbs.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 2/3 cup crushed pecans and crumbs.
  • Set aside for topping.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour into a greased 8" x 11.5" .glass baking dish.
  • Sprinkle topping over batter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until seems firm on top.
  • Serve warm

    Sounds delicious, jmatthew! I love coffee cake - so does hubby - I just made one off of AR last week, but too much butter in it. This sounds good, can I sub butter for the oil, you think?
