Garlic-Chili Roasted Chayotes

- Non-stick cooking spray shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp kosher salt shopping list
- 4 chayote squash (about 28 oz total) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450F, mist a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
- Combine chili powder, garlic powder and salt in a small dish, set aside.
- Peel and halve chayotes lengthwise, removing seeds.
- Cut into wedges and sprinkle evenly with the spice mixture.
- Place wedges on sheet pan, mist lightly with nonstick spray.
- Roast 20 minutes, flip wedges and roast a further 10-15 minutes, until golden brown and tender.
- Serve immediately.
