Russian Tea Cakes

- 1 cup butter, soft shopping list
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Grease a cookie sheet.
- Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla.
- Sift flour.
- Resift flour with the salt.
- Stir flour mixture into butter mixture.
- Mix well.
- Stir in the chopped nuts.
- Form dough into 1" balls.
- Placed on prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake 14 to 17 minutes.
- Roll in confectioners' sugar.
