How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9-inch glass pie plate; set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, cook spaghetti. Drain well and return cooked pasta to the pot. Add butter and stir until it melts. Stir in eggs and mix well. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Using the back of a spoon, press the spaghetti mixture into the prepared pie plate, building up the sides, to form a “crust”.
  • In a large skillet, brown beef and onion together. Drain any grease well. Stir in pizza sauce. Spread meat mixture evenly in “crust”. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle Mozzarella evenly over top. Bake 5 more minutes or until cheese is just melted.
  • Note: You can use 1 cup of thick, homemade, leftover spaghetti sauce instead of the canned pizza sauce, if desired.
