Mustard Prawns Recipe
It is just a simple flavourful dish. At home we cook this in the pot we steamed are rice. I simply put this bowl over the steaming rice and cover it with lid after few minutes the prawns simply cook in the steam. And trust me the vapour is heavenly

Ingredients
  • Small size river prawns (shelled and deviened)
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil
  • Try catch hold of some Indian mustard sauce
  • Basically its very strong and pungent sauce.
  • Try using normal english mustard.
  • Black mustard seeds
  • 3 or 4 garlic cloves
  • bit of shredded ginger
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • 1/4 tsp lime juice (optional)
  • 1 dry red chilly
  • coriander leaves finely chopped

Directions
  1. Take medium sized bowl
  2. Mix the mustard oil with mustard sauce and lime juice
  3. salt and sugar granules
  4. Now add the raw prawns
  5. Mix it all up like marinate
  6. Steam this up along for not more than 10 minutes
  7. In pan heat a bit of Mustard oil and put the mustard seed.
  8. Once they start to pop add the one whole dry red chilly
  9. and the garlic and ginger..
  10. Stir fry lightly
  11. Take the steamed prawns out and pour this garlic mustard seed oil over it and mix it
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves
