Eggnog Cream Puffies Recipe
A light Christmas indulgence. Sweet and buttery, pudding holiday treat.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Eggnog Cream (to follow)
  • Powdered sugar

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Heat water and butter to rolling boil in 2 1/2 qt. sauce pan.
  3. Stir in flour.
  4. Stir vigorously over low heat for about one minute, or until substance forms a ball; remove from heat.
  5. Beat in eggs, all at once; continue beating until smooth.
  6. Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls about 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 35 to 45 minutes until puffed or golden.
  8. Cool away from draft.
  9. Cut off tops of puffs; pull out any soft dough.
  10. Fill puffs with Eggnog Cream; replace tops.
  11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  12. Serve immediately.
  13. Store covered in refrigerator.
