Ingredients

How to make it

  • In butter, saute the onion until tender.
  • Add thyme and celery seeds.
  • Saute 30 seconds more.
  • Add stock, limas and corn.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Whisk in potato flakes until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in heavy cream.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Reheat soup, if necessary.

    Easy is right! I could see myself making this so often my Michael would die if he had to see another kernel of corn. I love succotash, I love chowder, what a perfect blend. Great post!
