From thamesarino 15 years agoIngredients
- 1 bag of fresh cranberries shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup of water shopping list
- 1/2 cup of orange juice shopping list
- 1 clementine shopping list
- 1/4 cup of Cherry-flavored brandy shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon allspice shopping list
- A splash of Grand Marnier shopping list
How to make it
- Combine water, orange juice, and sugar in a medium sauce pan.
- Zest the clementine into the pan.
- Chop clementine and set aside.
- Heat liquids over low heat to dissolve the sugar.
- Add cranberries, ground allspice, brandy, and chopped clementine.
- Bring to a simmer, stirring often to prevent burning.
- The cranberries are done when they float and begin to pop.
- Remove from heat, while continuing to stir, add a splash of Grand Marnier. The heat will still cook off the alcohol because it is hot, but it leaves that nice flavor Grammie always liked! ; )

Oh yeah...cranberries, oranges, and booze! I'm not a real turkey fan, but this sounds like a great addition to a fruit stuffed pork loin I like to make. Another great Thanksgiving post!
