Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine water, orange juice, and sugar in a medium sauce pan.
  • Zest the clementine into the pan.
  • Chop clementine and set aside.
  • Heat liquids over low heat to dissolve the sugar.
  • Add cranberries, ground allspice, brandy, and chopped clementine.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring often to prevent burning.
  • The cranberries are done when they float and begin to pop.
  • Remove from heat, while continuing to stir, add a splash of Grand Marnier. The heat will still cook off the alcohol because it is hot, but it leaves that nice flavor Grammie always liked! ; )

Oh yeah...cranberries, oranges, and booze! I'm not a real turkey fan, but this sounds like a great addition to a fruit stuffed pork loin I like to make. Another great Thanksgiving post!
