Pumpkin Praline Pie

- pumpkin, cooked, without salt -- mashed cup 2 shopping list
- milk, canned, condensed, sweetened oz 14 shopping list
- egg, whole, raw large 2 shopping list
- cinnamon, ground teaspoon 1 shopping list
- nutmeg, ground teaspoon 1/2 shopping list
- ginger, ground teaspoon 1/2 shopping list
- salt teaspoon 1/2 shopping list
- pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, enriched -- unbaked, 9-inch crust 1 shopping list
- sugar, brown, dark tablespoon 3 shopping list
- Cream, light whipping tablespoon 3 shopping list
- pecans, halves -- for garnish cup 1 shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine first 7 ingredients in mixing bowl; beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 1 minute.
- Pour filling into pastry shell.
- Bake at 375F for 50 minutes or until set. Cool.
- Before serving, combine brown sugar and whipping cream in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Drizzle mixture over pie and garnish with pecan halves.
