Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 cup soft bread crumbs

1 egg, slightly beaten

2 TBS. minced onions

2 TBS. milk

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp.salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

1 TBS. vegetable oil

2/3 cup chili sauce

2/3 cup grape jelly

Directions

Combine first eight ingredients; form into 40 bite-sized meatballs.

Brown meatballs lightly in oil on medium heat.

Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

Drain excess fat.

In a bowl combine chili sauce and jelly; pour over meatballs.

Heat stirring occasionally, until jelly is melted. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until sauce has thickened, basting occasionally.

Makes 40 meatballs.
