Ingredients

1.5 to 2 lbs ground beef

1 slightly beaten egg

1 Onion, chopped in whichever fashion prefered

Spaghetti Sauce to mix, whatever feels right for your taste

One clove garlic

Salt and Pepper

Stuffing (I generally use one cup)

Worcestershire sauce

Ketchup (whichever feels right with your combo, I do not put too much ketchup into the actual meat loaf, probably about 1/2 cup)

Mushrooms

For the Sauce:

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup Ketchup

1 tsp. Mustard

1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

Combine beef, egg, onion, sauce, garlic, seasonings, stuffing, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Top with the above sauce. Reserve a bit of the sauce to apply at the end of cooking or for heated leftovers.

Serve with Mashed potatoes and a side dish of your choice.

The list of ingredients sounds pretty good but guess what? I really like recipes better if they include quantities - 1 cup, 2 TBS, etc., at least as a starting point. I know everyone likes to do their own thing but if you're sharing your prized recipe why not be a bit more specific, then if the cooks want to vary thngs it's easy enough to do. Just my thoughts, not meant to criticize in any way. I've never made meat loaf and your's sounds really good.

No problem. With the ketchup I usually use about 1/4 to 1/2 cup with the meat loaf, its just more on feel so its not dry but not too saucy. Hope you enjoy the recipe.
