This recipe came from a can of Swanson chicken broth.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans (14 ounces each) Swanson chicken broth (about 3 1/2 cups)
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper (original recipe says "generous dash")
  • 1 medium carrot, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup UNCOOKED extra wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

Directions
  1. Use a saucepan that has at least 2 quarts capacity.
  2. Heat all ingredients together except the noodles and chicken. Using medium-high heat, let this combination come to a boil.
  3. Now add the rest of the ingredients and turn heat down to medium. Cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
