Chipotle Honey Roasted Peanuts Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • In pan large enough to mix nuts melt butter, honey and salt. Add nuts and stir to coat.
  • Transfer to 13 x 9 cake pan. Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
  • Make a cure of sugar and spices.
  • When nuts are done stir in the cure and shake or stir every few minutes to break clumps (I do this in a large bowl with a lid so I can shake).
  • Store in a quart mason jar, or other air tight container.
