Swiss Steak Recipe
This is a Reynolds oven bag recipe but may be cooked stovetop simmered slow or in crock pot. Double recipe for 4 servings.

Ingredients
  • 1 Reynolds oven bag
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can Italian stewed or diced tomatoes (14 oz.)
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2-3/4 lb. cubed beef steak

Directions
  1. Shake flour in oven bag and place in 13x9 baking pan.
  2. Add tomatoes, sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper to bag. Squeeze bag to blend.
  3. Add steak to bag and turn to coat with sauce. Arrange steak in single layer.
  4. Close bag with tie and cut six 1/2 inch slits in top for steam to escape.
  5. Bake 45-60 min.'s at 350 or until steak is tender.
