Paulas Quick Skillet Ziti

- 1 package frozen meatballs OR make your own shopping list
- 1 jar (28 0z.) Prego traditional pasta sauce shopping list
- 5 cups cooked medium tube-shaped macaroni, cooked and drained. shopping list
- ½ green pepper, diced shopping list
- ½ red or yellow pepper, diced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced OR ¼ tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 can mushrooms, drained shopping list
- ½ tsp. italian seasonings shopping list
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1 TBS. parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Pre- heat oven to 350.
- In a large non- stick skillet, over medium- high heat, warm the meatballs; add onions, peppers, garlic, Italian seasonings and salt and pepper.
- When onions and pepper are tender, add the pasta sauce. Mix well while sauce heats, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cooked and drained ziti pasta. Remove from heat.
- Spray Pam in a 13x9 inch casserole dish and spoon pasta sauce in casserole pan. Top with parsley and mozzarella cheese and cover with foil. Bake about 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is bubbly and cheese is melted. Freezes well.
