My House Dressing

- 1 Cup balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1/3 Cup olive oil. (There is so much confusion and static and ego lately going on with olive oil- and that just muddles things up. Just find an olive oil you like and go with it. Yes, there are many exceptions however this is just salad dressing.) shopping list
- juice of 1/2 fresh lemon shopping list
- 1 TSP salt shopping list
- 1 TSP ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 TSP Dried oregano. If you have fresh use 2. shopping list
- 1/2 TSP dried basil. If you have fresh, use 1. shopping list
- 1 TSP heaping sugar shopping list
- 2 TBSP water shopping list
How to make it
- Wisk all together well in a large bowl.
- Pour into a container and let marinate overnight for best flavour.
- You can serve it immediately, it is great then too.
- Keep in a salad dressing bottle in your cupboard away from sunlight.
- Makes a good rub for leg of lamb prior to roasting!
