Ingredients
  • Cranberry cheese frosting:
  • 1 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 tb Whole cranberry sauce
  • Dash salt
  • 1 lb Powdered sugar
  • Cranberry fluff frosting:
  • 6 tb Butter or margarine
  • 2 ts Grated orange rind
  • Dash salt
  • 1 lb Powdered sugar
  • 5 tb Cranberry juice cocktail
  • Quick cranberry frosting:
  • 1 c Jelly cranberry sauce
  • 1 Egg white
  • Dash salt
  • 1 ts Almond extract
  • 2 ts Lemon juice
  • Cranberry cream topping:
  • 1 c Heavy cream
  • 1 tb Lemon juice
  • 1/2 c Powdered sugar
  • 1 c Jellied cranberry sauce crushed with a fork
  • Cranberry fluffy frosting:
  • 1 c Jellied cranberry sauce beaten smooth
  • 1/2 c Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1 Egg white

Directions
  1. Cranberry cheese frosting ( good for spice cakes, chocolate cakes etc. )
  2. beat cream cheese with cranberry sauce. gradually add
  3. sugar beating until creamy.
  4. Cranberry fluff frosting: good for any cakes
  5. Cream butter. add orange rind and salt.
  6. Add sugar gradually with cranberry cocktail.
  7. Beat light and fluffy.
  8. Quick cranberry frosting: Nice on any cakes
  9. combine ingredients and beat with rotary beater or electric mixer until frosting stands in peaks.
  10. Pile atop angel , chiffon or sponge cake and serve.
  11. Cranberry cream topping: whip cream stiff.
  12. Fold in lemon juice.
  13. Lightly fold in cranberry sauce and powder sugar.
  14. Serve as topping for hot gingerbread, spice cake, lemon cakes etc.
  15. Cranberry fluffy frosting: Combine cranberry sauce,
  16. brown sugar and water.
  17. Bring slowly to a boil and let cook for 2 minutes.
  18. Place unbeaten egg white in small deep bowl of electric mixer.
  19. When cranberry syrup has cooked for 2 minutes pour slowly onto egg white and beat mixer turned to medium speed.
  20. As air is beating into frosting, the frosting will expand 3 to 4 times
  21. in volume. beat with mixer turned to medium fast speed
  22. until frosting stands in peaks... 8 to 10 minutes.
  23. A pretty pink frosting for chocolate cakes.
