How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Add onions and saute until soft
  • Add garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes
  • Put onions and garlic in a bowl and set aside
  • Turn heat up to med-high
  • Add oil to coat bottom of the pan
  • Brown both sides of the chicken
  • Place chicken in a 9x13 pan
  • Deglaze the skillet with the wine and broth
  • Add soup and onion mixture
  • Stir until smooth
  • Add cream cheese and stir until smooth and creamy
  • Pour over chicken and place in the oven
  • Cook for 30-35 minutes
  • While chicken is cooking prepare pasta according to directions
  • Serve chicken over pasta

    Mmmm . . . I might make this tonight with one tiny change - hubby prefers me to cube the chicken, so I just brown it then cook it on top of stove and pour it all on top of the pasta - I think he's just lazy ; )
