Pour And Bake Pear Pudding Recipe
This dessert is healthy and so easy to make. It can be made with non-fat yogurt to make it even better. A family favorite.

Ingredients
  • 2 15 ounce cans of pear halves in light syrup
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  2. Drain pears, reserving ¾ cups of the syrup.
  3. Place pears in a greased 9 ½ x 1 ½ or 10 x 1 ½-inch deep quiche pan or pie plate.
  4. In a blender or food processor, place flour and sugar, and process till combined.
  5. Add the yogurt, eggs, vanilla, and pear syrup. Blend until smooth. Pour over pears. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is just set.
  7. Let cool for 30 minutes. Serve warm

I grew up with a pear tree on our farm, this sounds like something that we used to have. I'm just plain hungry for a pear dessert, but I haven't found one this forever! Thanks for sharing. - Linda
