Spanish Rice Dated 1951

- 3 cups cooked rice shopping list
- 2 cups canned crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oil shopping list
- 1 white onion chopped shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic minced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Saute vegetables in oil until done then add rice, spices and tomatoes with juices.
- Simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed then serve immediately.
