How to make it

  • prepare 9x13 pan by lining with aluminum foil , bringing it up the sides of the pan
  • unwrap dove pieces
  • place sugar, butter, half and half and salt in large heavy pan.
  • On medium heat gently bring to a hard boil stirring all the time
  • boil for 4 minutes stirring all the time to prevent scorching
  • turn off heat and add chocolate and marshmallow cream
  • let stand five minutes to melt the chocolate
  • Add vanilla and stir til completely blended. A
  • Add pecans and stir in
  • pour into prepared pan
  • cool completely
  • remove from pan and cut into one inch squares
  • makes about 5 lbs fudge
  • I wrap mine individually in waxed paper and store in a jar with a lid. Keeps for a long time if someone doesn't eat them all.
