How to make it

  • Mix all meatball ingredients until well mixed.
  • Roll meat mixture into approximately 100 meatballs.
  • Bake @ 325F for 20 min.
  • Meanwhile: mix all sauce ingredients together & heat through.
  • Stir in the lemon slices after removing sauce from stovetop.
  • Remove meatballs from oven and transfer into a large crockpot.
  • Pour sauce (with lemon slices) over meatballs and toss gently to coat.
  • Keep meatballs warm in crockpot set on low.
  • NOTE:
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen in the sauce. Remove the lemon slices prior to freezing.
