How to make it

  • Saute shallots and garlic in oil for about 5 minutes.
  • Add tomato puree, paste, wine and cook about ten minutes,
  • Add basil, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Cook for around 1 hour stirring on occasion.
  • Let cool before topping the pizza dough.

    similar to the sauce i make every friday night. this will taste good! simmering for an hour is very important... and letting it cool afterwards. nice recipe!
