Ginger Bread

- 2 1/3 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup molasses ( I use Grandma's) shopping list
- 3/4 cup hot water shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 lg egg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp ground ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare a 9x9 baking pan with nonstick pan spray and flour.
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat on low with mixer until combined.
- Scrape down sides and and mix on medium for about 3 more minutes.
- Pour into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean.
- Cool on rack for 10-15 minutes before removing to serving plate.
