    This recipe is uniquely different. It’s really sweet, a little bit of sour, and very peppery with each doing its part to balance all of the different flavors. Personally, I found it better the second day after the flavors had time to blend together. This recipe is tagged for a crockpot, but I put it in a heavy Dutch style covered pot and simmered on the stovetop. The roast turned out very moist and pulled apart easily just as you would expect from a perfectly cooked chuck roast. Date: 11/9/15
