Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Butter 9x13 glass baking dish with 1 tbls. butter
  • Melt remaining 3 tbls. butter in skillet
  • Add leeks and saute until tender, about 5 minutes
  • Spread on bottom of baking dish
  • In mixing bowl, add cheeses and mix together
  • Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese onto leeks
  • In mixing bowl, whisk eggs, cream, tarragon, and salt and pepper
  • Pour into baking dish
  • Bake about 30 minutes, top golden brown and eggs set
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese over top
  • Bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes

    Sounds delightful and delicious, Corrine. I love the tarragon and gruyere here - and the fact that it's baked in the oven. Great post - high 5! :)
