How to make it

  • NOW THE STORY!
  • This recipe is the result of a girls weekend in northern Wisconsin. The locals were buying us shots of their homemade apple pie. After awhile we asked what was in them. Some might have the intelligence to ask this before hand?! We thought they were saying "Everqueer" when they were really saying "Everclear"! It is a neutral grain spirit that is both colorless and tasteless. It is between 151 and 190 proof. Rum or vodka by comparison is around 40 to 60 proof! It is sometimes illegal, unavailable or hard to find, but this is Wisconsin-if you need help finding some I can help you out! The best apple pie by the way , was at the Shamrock Bar in Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin--just in case you are passing through! Amazingly we were not stung the next day, but our bellies did ache for 2 days from all the giggling! It will alway be "Everqueer" to us-that's much more fun! Girls weekends can be dangerous--enjoy both in moderation!!
