Ingredients
  • 3 TBS butter or margarine
  • 2 TBS all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 Cups milk
  • 6 Medium to large potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup chopped onion
  • 2 Cups Diced cooked ham
  • 1 1/2 inch of Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dry, fine, bread crumbs

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Make white sauce with first 4 ingredients.
  3. Add cheese and onion until cheese is melted
  4. Grease a baking dish
  5. Layer 1/2 potatoes, ham and cheese sauce in that order repeat and top with bread crumbs.
  6. Cover and bake at 350 for about 1 hour (until potatoes are tender)
  7. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes longer
  8. Cheese, Ham, Potatoes
