Ingredients

How to make it

  • Remove crescent roll dough from can, keeping it in the log shape.
  • Cut log into slices about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Place slices on very lightly greased baking sheet, in a star shape, overlapping the dough just a tiny bit as you form the star.
  • Bake at temperature recommended for rolls, but only until lightly browned (baking time will be considerably shorter since the rolls are thinner and not rolled into crescent shapes, so just watch them closely - I baked mine about 10 minutes).
  • Cool baked star completely.
  • Spread with Spinach Dip and serve immediately.
  • To make spinach dip, combine all ingredients until well blended.

This is a fun recipe, Krum! Great idea! I used to bake a puff pastry sheet and cover that with tuna salad. I'd make a hole too with chopped red onions in it for those who wanted to add the onions to their tuna. Good stuff all around! Thanks for your recipe. I'm definitely making this one!
