Lemon Alfredo

- 1 lb pasta, whatever you like, I use rotini shopping list
- 2 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 1 stick of butter, unsalted shopping list
- 1-2 cups parmesano reggiano, depends on how cheesy you like it shopping list
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested shopping list
- 1 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Cook your pasta how you would normally do it.
- In a sauce pan, over medium heat, warm the cream. Once the cream is warm add the butter and whisk together. Once melted add the cheese, whisking continuously until it's creamy and all the cheese is melted. Once it is creamy add the zest of the lemon. I add the lemon juice a tsp at a time until the flavor is right. Once you get it to the flavor you like add the parsley. Serve over pasta.
- This is really good with cheesy garlic bread.
