Chicken And Parsley Dumplings

- 2 tbsp of oil shopping list
- 8 cups of chicken broth shopping list
- 2 cups of chopped onions shopping list
- 2 cups of cubed chicken (torn off rotisserie chicken) or shopping list
- cook chickens in bulk, skin/debone and freeze the meat in 2 cup portions for later use-generally will cook 5 hens at one time to have chicken chunks for the month) Use the bones and leavings to make own broth and freeze it too. shopping list
- 1/2 cup of Master tuna/chicken turkey Mix (Posted) shopping list
- 1 cup of carrot coins shopping list
- 1 cup of peas shopping list
- Dumpling Batter: shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp of baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp of baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of salt shopping list
- dash of pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp of parsley flakes shopping list
- 2 tbsp of oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup of buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in large 3 quart soup pot.
- Stir in onions, celery, carrots. Cook five minutes or so.
- Add chicken, tuna master helper mix and peas.
- Pour in all 8 cups of broth.
- Heat until bubbly but not boiling hard.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, BP, PS, salt, pepper, parsley, oil and buttermilk for a very thick batter.
- Stir broth and drop batter in by the spoonful and cover.
- Let cook on low for 15 minutes.
