Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heavily coat fry pan with cooking spray.
  • Add butter and diced onions.
  • Sprinkle w/salt and pepper
  • Add meat and cook over medium heat for approx 5 minutes.(This is pre-cooked and only need to be warmed.)
  • Stir bbq sauces and brown sugar together.
  • Add bbq sauce to meat and cook over medium heat an additional 5 minutes.
  • Serve on hardrolls.
  • Top with pickle slices and diced onions.
  • **I tried a bite of this and couldn't believe how great it tasted!**

    Gimmie Lean also makes a great "ground beef" that comes in a plastic casing in the produce section, as well as a tasty breakfast sausage substitute. I haven't tried Gimmie Lean for sloppy joes (I usually use tempeh and have a recipe for it on here somewhere). Love SBR though, as my guy and I call it. Kudos to your daughter!
