Spaghetti Primavera

- 1/2 package (8 oz.) Creamette spaghetti, uncooked shopping list
- 8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cut in strips shopping list
- 2 to 2 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chicken-flavored instant bouillon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning shopping list
- 3/4 pound cooked ham, cubed or cut in strips shopping list
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed shopping list
- Grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook mushrooms and onion in oil until tender.
- Reduce heat to medium; add red pepper.
- Cook until tender, about 2 minutes.
- Mix milk, flour, bouillon and Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Add to skillet, cook and stir until slightly thickented.
- Add ham (optional), peas and cooked pasta; heat through.
- Serve immediately with Parmesan cheese.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
