My son brought this recipe home when he was in Grade 4, provided by his teacher when the class baked as a lesson in measurement.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 4 ripe bananas

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Pour into greased, sprayed or non-stick loaf tin.
  3. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
