Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine butter, sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in a 9 x 13 pan.
  • Add apples and cranberries and toss well
  • Spread evenly in dish
  • Arrange slices of bread on top
  • Mix eggs, vanilla and remaining cinnnamon
  • Pour over bread, soaking bread completely
  • Cover and chill up to 24 hours
  • Bake covered with foil in a preheated 375F oven for 40 minutes
  • Uncover and bake 15 more minutes
  • let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm

    Oh my, I just love these make-ahead toast dishes! Especially good when just a bit of bread is sticking up out of the wash and bakes up chewy! This one sounds heavenly. Great post. --Kn0x--
