Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef

1 1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs

3/4 - 1 cup parmesian cheese, grated

2 eggs

2 tsp seasoning salt, more or less to taste

3/4 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 tbsp butter

Ketchup, or meatloaf glaze

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.

Start with the 2 lbs of ground beef.

Add in bread crumbs, parmesian cheese, eggs, seasoning salt, kosher salt, and black pepper.

With your hands, knead all the ingredients together well.

Shape meat mixture into a loaf and set into 13 x 9 inch pan. (You can use an 8 x 8 pan or a 9 x 9 pan, but do not use a loaf pan, because you will need to baste the meatloaf)

Place 2 tbsp of butter on top of the meatloaf and place pan in preheated oven.

After cooking for about 15 minutes, put the remaining 2 tbsp of butter on the meatloaf and cook for 5 more minutes.

At this point, either zigzag the ketchup on the meatloaf or drizzle the meatloaf glaze on the loaf.

Every five minutes, baste the meatloaf in the juices of butter at the bottom of the pan for 10-15 minutes.

Voila! Your meatloaf is ready to serve. :)
