How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
  • Start with the 2 lbs of ground beef.
  • Add in bread crumbs, parmesian cheese, eggs, seasoning salt, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • With your hands, knead all the ingredients together well.
  • Shape meat mixture into a loaf and set into 13 x 9 inch pan. (You can use an 8 x 8 pan or a 9 x 9 pan, but do not use a loaf pan, because you will need to baste the meatloaf)
  • Place 2 tbsp of butter on top of the meatloaf and place pan in preheated oven.
  • After cooking for about 15 minutes, put the remaining 2 tbsp of butter on the meatloaf and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • At this point, either zigzag the ketchup on the meatloaf or drizzle the meatloaf glaze on the loaf.
  • Every five minutes, baste the meatloaf in the juices of butter at the bottom of the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  • Voila! Your meatloaf is ready to serve. :)
