This is an old time favorite of many families, a great tradition to keep alive, just watch out for the yellow and brown snow hee hee they arent so yummy
Ingredients
- large bowl of clean snow shopping list
- 1/2 C sugar shopping list
- 2 C. milk or cream shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all together until smooth, and enjoy ;)

Oh wow...saw this done on one of my son's shows - but it's a cartoon and I didn't think it would really work! LOL Maybe the first real snow of the season will be fresh enough to try this - He'll love to sing the rhyme too! Thanks for posting!! ^5!

Great recipe!! My family always fixes this when we actually get some snow. Though my Grandmother would always say not to use the first snow unless it had snowed for hours. At this point I'll have to use the first one if I want to make any. Great Memo...more

I grew up with this, and yes, traditionally people don't use the first snow because it is considered polluted or "unclean." I don't know if there's any validity to that though. All I know is, yum!
