This recipe was given to me from Ann Robbins at the bank here in town . She makes it at Christmas. Cream cheese ball made with dried beef...very good

Ingredients
  • 4- 8 oz. bars cream cheese softened
  • 2 bunches green onions finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 pkg. (8oz.) dried beef chopped finely
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 oz. chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Mix softened cheese
  2. with onions
  3. garlic
  4. and dried beef
  5. and black pepper
  6. Form into a ball
  7. then flatten a little
  8. Roll in pecans
  9. top, bottom and sides
  10. Wrap in plastic wrap til ready to serve.
  11. I serve on a bed of curley lettuce
  12. with mixed crackers. Good with chips too.
