Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Slice off top, and remove seeds and membranes of bell peppers
  • Boil peppers in large pot of water for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove peppers from water and allow to dry on paper towels
  • Brown turkey in skillet
  • Add onion and garlic and cook 3-4 minutes
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix completely
  • Cook over medium-low for 2-3 minutes until well blended
  • Place peppers in baking dish of your choice (i use a glass loaf pan)
  • Stuff turkey mixture into peppers
  • Top each with a couple of spoonfulls of tomato sauce
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese (opt)
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes

    Hey Pam...Sounds delish..I have made variations of these several times...Love stuffed peppers...Have made them with ground beef/bison, ground pork and lamb (sometimes mix the two), But I hae never amde them with ground turkey or chicken...Great post...Thanks..Stewie
