saugsage and pepper penne

- 4 chorizo sausages shopping list
- 1 box of penne shopping list
- 1 jar of your fav tomato sauce (or homemade if you have time) shopping list
- 2 red peppers shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 1/2 c of spanish onion shopping list
- 1/2 c reggiano parmiagano cheese (grated) shopping list
- 1/4 c freshly chopped basil shopping list
- tsp chilli flakes shopping list
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic shopping list
How to make it
- chop up onion and garlic
- add Olive oil to medium size fry pan
- add garlic and onion saute for about 3 min
- add sausage (prick each one with fork)
- cook for about 5 min
- cut sausage into pieces and remain cooking for 2 min
- add half of the jar of sauce
- add the reggiano cheese and stir frequently
- add chopped peppers and chilli flakes
- continue cooking at a low heat
- meanwhile cook pasta according to package
- add the rest of the sauce and salt and pepper to taste
- finally add the basil
- strain the pasta
- mix together and serve
