Ingredients
  • 6 oz Mirin
  • 6 oz Soy Sauce
  • 3 1/2 oz Sugar
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced, and turning to paste
  • Ginger, Minced, about same amount as garlic

Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in sauce pan, on high heat whisking until sugar is dissolved, turn heat down to barely a simmer, and let cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Cool to room temperature, and then marinate choice of meat for 20 min.

This looks good! I love asian-style marinades.


Cant get any better than this. I did it today and its way better than what you can buy on the shelf. I have to say i don't like to use soy sauce as it's loaded with free Glutamate, but at least i stay in the natural sources. It's not avoidable when you cook Asian or fusion. Thanks for the recipe ! Another way to avoid processed food :)!!
