How to make it

  • Boil tomato paste, juice and salt for five minutes.
  • Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Place cubed bread in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
  • Pour butter over the top.
  • Add tomato mixture and bake uncovered for one hour.
  • May be frozen and reheated.

    My dad would have loved this , but my family thinks I'm nuts evey time I mention tomato pudding. I may try half a recipe and tell them its something else. Thaanks.

    This looks so good! I LOVE tomatoes! I will definately try this. I might add some cheddar for the last 5 minutes of baking. Thanks for the recipe!
