Tomato Pudding ala Red Fox Inn

- 2 6 oz cans of tomato paste shopping list
- 1 46 oz can of V-8 or tomato juice shopping list
- 1 scant teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 2 cups of brown sugar shopping list
- 14 slices of white bread, cubed shopping list
- 1 cup of melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Boil tomato paste, juice and salt for five minutes.
- Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Place cubed bread in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- Pour butter over the top.
- Add tomato mixture and bake uncovered for one hour.
- May be frozen and reheated.
