Stuffed Hungarian Hot Peppers Recipe
This is a really nice appetizer, that goes real well with cocktails

Ingredients
  • 16 hungarian hot wax or poblano peppers
  • 1/2 pound or more good hot italian sausage
  • 1 stick pepperoni ground if you don't have a grinder use a box grater on the large holes and rub it with olive oil and slightly freeze the pepperoni
  • good smoked provolone cheese grated
  • maranara sauce homemade or use your favorite jar

Directions
  1. Wash the peppers and split in half remove the seeds the heat is in the membraneso leave it in
  2. combine the sausage pepperoni and cheese
  3. stuff each half of the peppers place in a baking dish
  4. top with saucebake in a preheated 375 degree oven till done
  5. I like to top them with a little pecorino romano cheese before serving.
