How to make it

  • Place chocolate in a stainless bowl.
  • Mix cream, vanilla and corn syrup in a stainless pot.
  • Bring cream, vanilla and corn syrup to a simmer.
  • Pour the mixture over the chopped chocolate and allow to melt for 3-4 minutes.
  • Wisk to combine.

    The sauce is great on ice cream. Although I would be sure to use mostly semi-sweet chocolate for ice cream. Bitter-sweet might be, well, too bitter.

    Would this be good on ice cream, do you think? Perhaps a Banana Split? It sounds yummo, although I'm like Michellem--what leftover chocolate???!!!

    Great idea! Im not sure we will find any leftover chocolate in our house! Well I guess if its baking chocolate we will=0)..thanks for sharing~M
