Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix well the soup, tuna, onion and most of the chips; save a handful or two for the top
  • Spread into a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish
  • Sprinkle the cheese over all and the reserved chips on the cheese
  • Bake in 350 degree oven until browned and bubbly
  • *You can easily half this recipe; just use less chips
  • **This is a good way to use up the left over chips that have become a little stale, no one will ever know, just save em up
  • ***Feel free to use low sodium soup, rinse your tuna, use low fat and low sodium chips...and the cheese...oh gosh....come on...it's CHEESE for Pete's sake!! Use Sharp!!

Those crushed chips on a tuna casserole definitely turn them into a salty bit of deliciousness. I rarely have chips in the house anymore, but I have to remember to pick some up for this casserole...I haven't made this in year!

Love the chips addition here, and never tried combining the tuna with canned cream soup yet, sounds very interesting!
