Chicken Chowder

- 1/4c butter shopping list
- 1/3 c fine chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2c fine peeled,diced carrot shopping list
- 1/3c fine diced celery shopping list
- 1/4c fine diced green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/4c flour shopping list
- 1-2tsp salt shopping list
- 1tsp pepper shopping list
- 1c boiling water shopping list
- 1 28oz can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 apple,peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1tsp thyme leaves shopping list
- 1/4c chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 3c milk shopping list
- 1c diced cooked chicken shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a stock pot over med-high heat.
- Add onions,carrot,celery and green pepper and cook till tender 2-3 mins. Sprinkle with flour,salt and pepper,stirring gently to combine.
- Gradually mix in the boiling water and tomatoes,stirring till smooth.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add appl,thyme and parsley. Simer 3o mins. Add milkand chicken and cook till heated through.
